A moment / Momenat

There are some pictures that might not appear or mean much to the world, but for the people in the picture or the photographer it can mean a lot. Maybe there is a smile, a word or an event that happened just before the camera klicks.
I liked this photo. I found it funny and cute how Ada posed while waiting for me.
This picture shows my baby girl feeling big 🙂
Bilo mi je smiješno i simpatično gledati kako Ada pozira dok me čeka.

Every day hero / Vardagshjältar

Across my seat a woman was eating chocolate. Ada seeing her wanted also a chocolate giving me (really, really) hard job to convince her that she will get it…another time. I was kind of lying.
Next time I was alone eating a chocolate when a woman and her child sat across. Of course the woman got the same problem as I have had. I felt busted and for a moment thought about if I should continue or stop eating. The option give it to the kid does not exist. I decided embarrassed to put my chocolate away.
All this made me think…
Is it ok to sit on the bus and eat a chocolate when a child across you is watching you? The same goes for all things be it chocolate or cigarettes!
Is it ok when you are in a hurry and you cross the street while other peoples (you wouldn´t do that to your own) children are watching you?
Is it ok to stare on your cell phone be it your or other people’s children around? What do we teach them with it?
I, as a parent, am really grateful for people thinking about these things and avoid to do these obvious things while my children are around, even if is restricting their comfort being.
You have no idea how much that helps. For me YOU are the true every day heroes!
(Djeca će tebe oponošati tebe, a ne tvoje savjete)
Preko puta mog sjedišta sjedi žena i jede (onako pravo uživa) čokoladu. Ada kad je to vidjela, odmah je (naravno) i ona htjela čokoladu.
Niste ni svjesni koliko nama roditeljima olakšate dan!
Vi ste za mene pravi svakodnevni heroji!

Virus 1, virus 2, virus 3 oooooh

First it started with a cold. That cold is holding on forever.
Than there was the stomach virus and this night the ears were troubling her. It was so sad to hear the painful cry of her having pain in the ears. I felt so sorry because I know how painful the pain in ears can be.
Since we have just one car and Ada had to go to the doctor I acted taxi driver this morning. First to Ittersbach, then back, then take Ada to the doctor and then home. In the end I have spent half a day doing…nothing. I really felt so efficient in being inefficient 😛

The Pareto principle / Pareto princip

The Pareto principle states that for many events the 80/20 rule could be applied. It means 20% of the input makes 80% of the output. Some mean that reality is even 99/1 ratio, meaning that 99% of your output comes from 1% input.
So how can we use this to improve our every day life?
First of all, imagine you have very clear goals.
When you have it, it is easier to prioritize which of the goals is the most important for you. Which is second most important and so on.
Now write down all the sub goals you have to reach to reach your main goals.  The more detailed the list is the better.
Once you have the list of sub goals write down every single thing you need to do to reach that goal.
Prioritize! Here the Pareto principle gets important. Of 10 tasks to do 2 are more much much more important and give higher impact on your future than all the others together.  You have to find out which two tasks are “the top 20% ones”.
Once you know them proceed with the task and do not stop until you finished the task. Also do not start with some less important tasks.
Here the difficulties for me, and most of the people, is that we tend to procrastinate the more difficult tasks that often happen to be the ones that are “top20%”, and do the 80% of the less valueable tasks.
So what should we do?

  1. Make a list of all our key goals, activities, projects and responsibilities in your life today. Find out which of these represent the top 20% tasks that represent the 80% of the results?

From today and on, spend more time on the few areas that improve your life and career and spend less time on the lower valued activities. expectations-pareto1Pareto princip navodi da se za mnoge događaje može primijeniti 80/20 pravilo.
Ovo predstavlja, meni i većini ljudi, najveću poteškoću.

Enjoying a home spa / Uživanje u kućnom spa

Sometimes it is very important to recover and relax. One way is to make yourself a spa at home. These ideas are partially translated from this article, but most of them I use myself also. Prepare a home spa is simple and one of the cheaper things that we can do for ourselves and which we beautify one day. Especially when the days get colder.

  1. You need a couple unplanned hours. (If you want you can invite a friend).
  2. Turn off the cell phone and the computer and try to “switch off” from the world. That can be very effective and balm for the soul.
  3. Use your softest towels and lit some candles. Little tricks that make huge difference! Add a little relaxing music and it´s almost like you’re in a real wellness hotel.
  4. After a long week, a foot bath can be heavenly. Put some salt, honey and olive oil in the water and the feet will become super soft. After a while, when your feet are softened, remove the hard skin and your feet will be soo soft. After this you can make and paint your nails (if you want). For finish apply moisturizer to your feet and put some clean socks on.
  5. If foot care is not enough, you can proceed with a body scrub in the shower. Mix the olive oil and sugar or salt (salt is coarser), and if you want a nicer smell end with some odoriferous shower cream.
  6. Since you’re already in the shower some hair care can do. Mix 3 dl mayonnaise and an avocado. Distribute through the hair. If you have very oily hair, add a little squeezed lemon. If the hair is very dry, add some olive oil. Leave the mixture in the hair for 20 minutes and wash it out then.
  7. When you are done with the shower then the next nice thing is placing a facial mask. There are thousands of recipes for masks. Here are some few ideas:
Banana and cereal pasture fits oily skin
Egg white and some yogurt for a smooth face
Crush an avocado and you have a finished facial mask
Strawberry is good for skin problems. Mix with some yogurt!
I sometimes put this mask on and I find it great dry skin!In fact you can mix various ingredients because they are all natural! When the mask has done its work, massage it off the face or wipe it away with warm wet towel.
If you want put slices of cucumber on the eyes while the mask is on. The cucumber refreshes the skin around the eyes.
  8. Peeling lips! Especially in winter time lips dry and chap easily. You can put lip balm (or wax) overnight to make them softer, but from time to time it is not bad to peel the lips. Stir honey with some sugar. Rub the lips and massage them with your fingers for a minute until washing them out.
  9. Wash your body! After all peeling and washing finish up with a odoriferous body lotion and a facial cream.
  10. Make yourself comfortable! Wear the coziest clothes you’ve got!
  11. Enjoy a book, movie or something else that relaxes you

  3. Koristi najmekše peškire i upali svijećice.
U vodi stavite malo soli, meda i maslinovog ulja i noge će vam postati skroz mekane. Nakon nekog vremena kad noge omekšaju onda odstrani tvrdu kožu da vam noge budu mekane mekane. Sredi nakon toga nokte i ako hoćeš nalakiraj ih. Za kraj lijepo umaži noge i obuci čiste čarape.
  5. Ako nije dovoljna samo njega nogu, možete uraditi piling u tušu. Pomiješajte maslinovog ulja i šećera ili soli (so je grublja), a ako hoćete ljepši miris završi sa nekim mirišećim tuš kremom.
  6. A kad ste već pod tušem možete i njegu kose uraditi. Izmješajte 3 dl majoneze i jedan avokado.
izgnječi avokado i imaš gotovu masku
To osvježava kožu oko očiju.
  8. Piling usana!

Wouldn´t be too bad having something like this at home 😀
Ne bi bilo loše imati ovako nešto kod kuće 😀home-spa-bathroom-design-ideas

She´s german! / Ona je Njemica!

Yesterday, for the first time in my life, I experienced when someone leaves a small baby alone in the car. It was horrible to see that little boy crying and being unable to do anything.
We were at a parking place in front of the super market and his parents had obviously left him in the car while doing food shopping. Ensar tried to find them calling out a message in the store but no one came.
The boy was just crying and crying. And what felt as an eternity finally ended when the boys father came.
I couldn´t but tell him that it is not ok to leave a child in the car like that. He can choke (they left him with some food).
In my mind I would fear that someone crazy would come, break the windows and kidnap the child.
I told him, he´s lucky that his wife/ girlfriend didn´t know he left the child alone in the car she would probably be really pissed off.
He answered me – It is actually my wife that left our son in the car.
I was watching in disbelief. Probably he saw it and to explain this he gave me another shock.
He said to us: she´s German!
I didn´t and still don´t get it. What is that supposed to mean?make-sure-your-child-is-never

Priznajem, nisam jučer kontala niti danas kontam. Šta to treba da znači?

Organized lounging / Organizovano lijencarenje

I am lately feeling tired. Really tired. I started to long to just lay down and relax.  I had this feeling for a couple of days and then yesterday I came up with this simple but grandious idea. Why not simple BOOK a massage or a facial treatment. I love massage,  I love facial treatments so first I booked a massage and thought ah what the hell, I want a facial too. Booked and done I went for the facial today. Must say I LOVE this kind of “organized lounging” in life 😀20160915_141123Osjecam se u zadnje vrijeme umorno. Pravo umorno. Pravo volim ovo organizovano lijencarenje 😀

Shopping / Šoping

Tonight, Ada woke up around 3.00h, pretty fit, and then around 4 and 5, where after she fell asleep and was sleeping completely knocked out until late 8.00 o´clock. Leaving her in the kindergarten I just felt I need some facial mask for my swollen, tired face. So I went for a walk in the city and bought more than I had intended. Of course I couldn´t resist to buy some things to Ada also.
In LUSH  I bought a bath bomb (Ickle baby bot) for Ada because she loves bathing. I also got myself a facial mask the “Oatifix” that is supposed to be 100% natural. It felt good on the skin so I have to try it on my face. I also got a test package of the facial mask “Gorgeous“. Funny, how small “gifts” like this make a costumer happy. Some of the things I bought for Ada 😀
adin-bajramski-poklonsapun
Dobila sam i probno pakovanje maske „Gorgeous“.

I also wanted to try the natural cosmetics and saw the Alverde brand from DM and thought let´s try that. Well, I needed a night cream and wanted to try the Lavera one. Which creams do you prefer?moj-poklonHtjela sam probati prirodnu šminku i izabrala sam Alverde marku u DM:u  za probavanje.

I also found a Decleor aromessence serum IRIS for the face that I wanted to try so now I am full equiped for some time to challenge my wrinkles  😛
decleorNašla sam isto Decleor aromessence serum IRIS za lice koje sam htjela probati i sada imam punu opremu u borbi protiv bora 😛

Last but not the least. I found this cool video of how to make the bath bombes yourself. Maybe something for the handy ones 😀

Strasbourg Next / Strasbourg slijedeci

As I wrote previously, it is a little bit difficult to buy a gift for Ensar. I was then thinking “What is the best thing one can do and never regret”? And the answer is of course TRAVEL! So I booked a hotel in Strasbourg and hope we will have a wonderful weekend 😀
500x338_strasbourgIf you have any tips of must sees I´ll be happy to read / hear.
