Looking back at my short trip to Istanbul the last day was to say at least stressful. It started very nice and calm. Our flight was at 19.30h so we had a lot of time… I thought. We packed, and decided to go to the Basilica Cistern because it was close to the hotel. It is 1500 year old cistern that was providing water in bad times. Inside there was also a possibility to get a picture dressed as sultans. It was a mess to get five girls to look in the camera in the same time. During the whole photo session my daughter was screeeeaming. The cistern I found quite nice but it was not so much to see, so I think it is easy to get disappointed. I heard that there are concerts given there and I can imagine that it is magic. For mobility impaired people or buggies you need help because there are no elevators and lots of stairs.
And for the stressful part of the day we almost missed the flight because of traffic jam…
Prave sultanije …A tek dječica… ah 🙂
