There is something magic visiting new places. Be it new countries,new cities or simply new places in the town. I love visiting it. One of the places I´ve been to is Rotterdam. I was there at a meeting, and used the free time for exploring the city. We had a wonderful dinner at the tower 96m above the ground with a fantastic view. Rotterdam was completely bombed in the World war II making it a city of “modern buildings”. I also ate my first (delicious) cup cakes, with salt caramel, here.
Ima nešto čarobno kad posjećujem nova mjesta. Bilo to nove države, novi gradovi ili čak nova mjesta u gradu. U ovom slučaju sam bila u Roterdamu na jednom kongresu, ali sam ipak imala malo vremena da vidim i Roterdam grad. Imali smo predivnu večeru u Roterdamskom tornju na 96m visine, sa fantastičnim pogledom. Ispričano nam je da je Roterdam za vrijeme drugog svjetskog rata sravnan do zemlje, tako da je sada grad modernih zgrada. A Roterdam će mi ostati u sjećanju kao grad gdje sam prvi put cup cakes jela…i to sa slanom karamelom …
